Professor Ornoy is professor emeritus of anatomy, embryology & teratology at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School. In addition to having served in numerous positions within the medical school, Professor Ornoy served in the Israeli Ministry of Health as the head of the Department of Child Development and Rehabilitation (1996-2013) and of the Division of Rehabilitation (2013-2014). Professor Ornoy was recognized by the Israeli Society for Child Development and Rehabilitation for extraordinary and lifetime contribution to the field of child development in Israel.
